Robert “RJ” Simpson is the dedicated commercial construction superintendent at Modern NW, specializing in private client and broker contracts. RJ manages various projects, including tenant improvements, renovations, buildouts, and remodels. His extensive experience includes working on high-profile contracts with JLL, Bank of America, Capitol One, and UHG, among others. Notably, RJ took pride in the child therapy expansion in downtown Portland, a project close to his heart for its positive impact on children. His motto, “With each metal stud that gets raised, we’re one step closer to making someone’s dream a reality,” reflects his pride and commitment to his work. RJ holds numerous certifications, including OSHA 10 and 30, Erosion and Sediment Control Lead, and First Aid/CPR. He is also proud of his work on the Optum healthcare medical center in Downey, CA.
